  1.                            How to View GIF Files
  2.  
  3.      This CD ROM has hot XXX GIF FILES and you WANT TO SEE IT!  In order
  4. to see it, you need GIF viewer software program.  The best is VPIC61.ZIP.  You
  5. can download this from File Area 3.  You also need PKZ204G.EXE in order to
  6. unzip VPIC61.ZIP.

  8.      Create a directory called VPIC ( from DOS prompt, enter md VPIC
  9. {enter}).  Copy VPIC61.ZIP to that directory and unzip it using PKUNZIP.EXE
  10. (FROM PKZ204G.EXE).  While still in the VPIC directory, enter "whichvga" enter.
  11. This will tell you on the screen what type of video card you have installed in
  12. your pc.  Write that down.  Now enter "config.exe".  You will have a list of
  13. names of video cards on your screen.  Use you arrow keys to place the cursor
  14. over the choice which "WHICHVGA" told you earlier.

  16.      Now, you have configured VPIC.EXE.  To use VPIC, enter VPIC while in the
  17. VPIC DIR.  Enter the location of your gif files by using "F9" for path or use
  18. ALT F9 to scan the drive and choose the area where the GIF files are.

  20.      On the screen, you will see the list of gifs.  Move the cursor over the
  21. file and press enter to view.  Remember to set the resolution with the F5/F6
  22. keys or set to auto with F7.

  24.      Be sure to register your copy of VPIC with the author if you plan to keep
  25. it and use VPIC.
